Return to Nim’s Island is an Australian fantasy- adventure movie directed by Brenden Maher starring Matthew Lilliard, John Waters and Toby Wallace. The story line is based on the novel “Nim at Sea” by Wendy Oars.
Not entirely reflected as a kid movie, “Return to Nim’s Island” is all about a precocious daughter and her father living on the island. Nim is a teenage girl blessed with an amazing natural gift to be one with nature. Animals find her easy to make friend.
In the movie she is shown of having some amazing powers to connect with the animals and can feel their feelings. As the storyline proceeds there are some city developers shown showing keen interest in the island to make it a huge attraction. Nim is not comfortable with the idea and finally she comes with some great idea to prevent those developers from constructing buildings.
Nice story line, with brilliant backdrop sets and awesome performance by the actors makes a good watch. If you are looking out for some adventure type movie to watch with entire family, than look no further, this one will keep you entertained for one and half hour easily. The story is an enchanter for the movie goers of all ages.
